Beginning

This is the last page of the untitled comic that I managed to make while I was working on it. Although, despite the fact that work on this particular project suddenly went to a halt, this stop was due to the fact that I wanted to expand the idea behind this story beyond the borders of the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fandom. The prologue shows very little of this, because it almost entirely follows the principles and ideas established by Lauren Faust and the Hasbro company, but everything that was planned for this story in the future more and more deviated from the set canons of the series and the pony universe as a whole. While working on this comic, I realized that I don't want to complement someone else's created universe, I want MY own universe to work and expand on. Being a member of a fandom is good when you want to get big or just like the characters in this universe, but over time you might start to realize that you want to create something completely original and your own, so as not to be limited by things like: "This character would not do that because in canon..." You want to create YOUR canon (AU doesn't count). So with that mindset, I moved away from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and started updating the idea of this comic into something completely original and my own, something that I like and want to tell. The work has been going on for more than two years, and the story has changed a lot since then. I'm glad that I worked on this pony comic at the time, because otherwise I wouldn't have understood what exactly I want to draw and, perhaps, I would still be stuck in the creative block for a couple more years.

Anyway, I have some more sketches and concept art of the characters from the development of this unnamed pony comic, so let me know if you want to see more stuff on this topic. In the meantime, I'm going to work on my newer project. Thank you very much for your comments and favorites!
