Description
I wanted to draw some Count Orlov doodles for a really long time, but I couldn't put my hand on doing it until now.I decided to focus a bit on Alexei Orlov's character (the main character of the musical) and from what I gathered from some history books and other sources, he was quite a drunkhard and was interested in women, so I decided to turn him into a troublesome, irresponsible dork.
Additionaly I added one more character to the story: General Field Marshal Grigory Potemkin, one of Catherine the Great's favorites, her right hand and the head of her army forces. He does not appear in the musical, but oh boy, he has a history with the Orlov brothers! I gathered some information about an entire love triangle between Gregory Orlov (Twilight), Catherine the Great (Celestia) and Potemkin (Shining Armor). Potemkin, presumably, HATED the Orlov brothers and even accused all five of them of wounding his eye (when in reality he just poked his eye with a needle, because he wanted to get rid of a pimple above his eyebrow).
I had this idea that Potemkin and Gregory Orlov (maybe even all the Orlov brothers) were rivals, who tried to get closer to Catherine the Great in order to show one another who's the best. While Gregory Orlov and Potemkin didn't like each other, Alexei didn't mind about their rivalry and just minded his own buisness... by drikning to the point where he couldn't think straight and did all kind of nonsense in Catherine's castle.
Oh, yeah, also, in the musical Catherine seems to be obsessed with crowns.

Anyway, it's a good idea to focus a little more on Alexei's character, and I absolutely adore the way he is, the embodiment of "prepare for trouble bc I'll make it double", our little troblemaker
and Gregory's expression is priceless, like "oh dear little brother no, can we not do this at least for today?"
I really love your doodles and I hope in the future (if you want to, of course) to see more interactions between the Orlov brothers or between Gregory and Potemkin with their not-so-subtle provocations ahahah (even if they don't appear in the musical).
Speaking of it, do you have in mind to make animatics for "Count Orlov" too?

I'm still thinking of any funny ideas for all the Orlov brothers, but I can assure you, there will be more.
Me, EndiDjPrime and SinderyNaralex sure are planning to make an entire animatic series based on "Count Orlov"! We even know which songs we're going to pick and how many videos will be in the series, and I already have a very clear picture for each animatic in my mind, though we're not sure if we should consider starting this project before or after we're done with "Dance of the Vampires".

Anyway, take the time you all need and about the last thing, do what you three feel to do: do you feel you want to start the first animatic of "Orlov" during the "Dance of Vampires" project? it's ok - do you want instead to finish this project first so you can focus with all your energies to this new one with Starlight? it's ok too
