It all started when I drew the eyes of Scootalbert without any reason other than what I just felt like drawing his angry eyes to emphasize his emotions towards Monte Rainbow after Scoots discovered his revenge plan, but then Count-Monsparkle suggested to me to draw the remaining children of the conspirators, aka Bellentine and Appeline... And so I did. This idea was heavily inspired by Ink Potts' thumbnails for their "The Count of Monte Cristo" animatic series and, while I worked on those artworks, it really got me thinking on how the Count's revenge got completely out of control and caused such incorrigible impact on each and every one of the conspirators' kids. Bellentine almost had a complete breakdown, which could've ended in a horrible death for her, Scootalbert was almost turned into another avenger consumed by hatered, like Monte Rainbow himself,
and Eugenie... well, she was never interested in her family affairs in the first place, so... she's good.
