I've gotten a handful of people asking me how I made the hologram screen in my Papyrus Plays a Game comic.

Please forgive the sloppiness. I mostly just slapped this together so I could more easily answer the question more than just "lots and lots of layer effects".

Also, I've never really made a tutorial before, so I pretty much just jotted down the overall steps I took to get the effect.
Also also, I'm going under the assumption that whoever uses this tutorial already more or less knows their way around Photoshop.

This is all done in Photoshop CS4, but I can't imagine it'd be very different to do in later versions.

Addendum: The accompanying keyboard is a much simpler object, as it's just a simple grid of thin lines with just the blue glow effects.
