Description
This picture mostly spawned because I needed to draw something, and this came out of several minutes of random scribbling.
I'm actually kind of amazed that my scanner didn't pick up any of the other drawings I attempted and failed and frantically erased in irritation.
I first tried to draw Dema...
When that didn't work, I tried to draw the trio (Dema, Indy, and Topside) as babies... and that didn't work...
So then I tried to draw Indy in his police uniform... and THAT didn't work.
So then I drew Topside... And this came out. O_o

As difficult as it is for the rest of the clan to believe, no, Sidebottom didn't magically leave Boober to become Topside. He's still safely tucked away in the back of Boober's mind.

Topside is just naturally that goofy.

I've mused the idea of Topside actually being Sidebottom, but I think it's funnier that he isn't. XD

As a kid, Topside was pretty much a huge ball of energy. And being an artist, he was always making random stuff out of random crap he found lying around the house, usually things nobody could ever figure out what the subject was supposed to be. Sometimes not even Topside himself knew what they were.
Also being a bit of an actor, when he wasn't making stuff, he was playing pretend... Constantly... Much to Boober's chagrin.

Bit of Topside trivia: The very first necktie he took for his collection was actually Jigen's black tie.
Boober didn't like Topside running around shirtless everywhere and told him to put something decent on. Apparently in Topside's mind, the most decent thing anyone could wear was a necktie.
So he took Jigen's. Don't ask me how. He's Topside.
Jigen, for reasons nobody can figure out, let him keep it and began to wear a white tie instead after that. (just like the old "green jacket series" Jigen)

Eventually Topside also got himself that rainbow-striped vest, and with it he always wears a tie. And his necktie collection has gotten big enough that he rarely (if ever) wears the same one twice.
Where does he keep them all? Who the hell knows? He's Topside.

.......Also, that's a toy gun he's holding. It's not Jigen's. ¬.¬
I think Boober would freak out if Topside took Jigen's gun and started flailing it around like that.
