lol, No I'm not off my hiatus.
This was a pain in the butt to get finished because it involved bouncing it back and forth between my PC and my mac to make sure all the colors looked right.

The only reason I decided to do this is because this month's topic in the Monthly Gargoyles Contest is "Fanfiction Illustrations", and I absolutely can NOT pass up this opportunity to shamelessly plug my fic.

Now, in the description they said to draw a scene from the fic, but I couldn't really decide on any one particular scene. =/
Mostly because I love all of my main characters, and the only scenes where all of them appear at the same time are all scenes that are way too complicated for me to even hope to draw properly. XD
So instead I decided to go the route of "If 'Gold Demona' was a book, what would its cover look like?"
And this was the end result.

So yes, this is the entire clan, drawn all together for the first time.
Up front and center, of course, is Gold Demona herself.
On the left-hand side, from top to bottom, we have Professor Mac Hen, Krypto, Markl, Red, and Boober.
And on the right-hand side, from top to bottom, we have Vaala Marsaille/Xanatos, Jigen, and Silverbolt.
Now, originally, I had Blackarachnia on the right-hand side as well, but I just couldn't get her to look right. So, I opted not to include her in the pic, which is ok because she doesn't show up until late in the fic anyway, so she's only "sort of" a member of the clan.

But yeah, I know the left-hand side is a little crowded. =/
I tried my best to rearrange them so they'd fit better, but this was the best I could do.
Aside from all that....
Overall, I'm REALLY happy with how this turned out.
It took me forever to shade all these characters. X3
It was a real challenge keeping the shadows consistent. ><
But I think all my efforts paid off in the end.
