Yes, more fanart... but this time I practiced some realism! I thought it'd be interesting to try and create a realistic version of an animated character. Kakashi's gotta be my favourite in the Naruto series right now, so Kishimoto better not do to him what he's making us think he might do to him... >_>His mask/shirt thing was troubling... I'm not very experienced with skin-tight garments, and I couldn't find a good picture of anyone with his peculiar hairstyle, so I had to make it all up - but I think that turned out pretty well! I need to learn how to smudge more neatly... eh, but I'm glad I was able to get this done before the start of the second semester! Bahhh... holidays are too short... T_T

Not really who I would compare to Kakashi, but I liked the pose and his eyes, lol.

I don't really feel criting is nesisary there's no real point, your way to freaking busy to follow up on anything I said o.o It's just the basics, proportional issues and hmm the eyes seem to lack a "Kakashi" feel to them. He's always tired! (Like you!)

I'm sure Kishimoto will come back to their conversation, eventually... Maybe he wanted Minato and Naruto to have their father-son talk first. ^^
Eh, I'd say Kakashi's more mellow than tired, haha. He can have a rather alert, assessing gaze when he decides to use his Sharingan, and that's partly why I chose the reference I used.

Not too sure how I missed this on my devwatch but really, really good job on this. I really like how you were able to use a reference but still make the character show through the most.
Plus I have to say that the mask-thing looks awesome, I would have had a ton of trouble with that.

What an awesome pic! I just love to see animated characters made "real" it's so much fun to get an idea of how they'd actually look
I like the soft shading on him, it's really nice - especially on the hair, because the white highlights gives an idea of the individual hairstrands (and it's neat!)
Muscle and facestructure looks like a really good guess - I'd definietly say he looks like Kakashi in this department.
The mask is difficult, yes - though there are some of the face-features you've defined (like the nose and lips), that I'd leave out of view entirely, instead of detaling them - especially because you won't find a piece of cloth - no matter how skintight, that will define your lips and the sides of the nose like that.
But that aside, I just noticed the kick-ass shadows you've put around the eyes and brows! ~
The red is pure awesomeness - nothing less

Wow! Thanks very much for the long, detailed comment - I really appreciate it! I'm so glad you like the hair and shading - and the red, too, lol. Oh, and it's great to hear that I may have managed to capture Kakashi's structural form (I did reshape the referenced ear, haha...). What you've said about his mask makes sense - maybe I'll try and hide some of the facial definition some time (wouldn't be much trouble, I think).
