Brief Summary of Character: Eolian is a young dog with a lot of enthusiasm for life. He can be extremely childish, as he never really grew up, so many things are seen as black or white in his eyes. He enjoys being outdoors and meeting cats and humans alike. Although interested in new animals, he has shown some wariness around horses. He's very curious and while a bit spoiled, he tries his best to please others. Additionally, he is extremely submissive to others both physically and emotionally, and is only slowly beginning to stand up for himself.

Style and Method of Roleplay Preferred: I prefer lit roleplays through notes or Skype. My Skype is enchanted-topaz, be sure to mention your dA name and the character you play in Happy-Tails when you send me a friend request to make things run smoothly. I will do script, but it is not my preferred style. I enjoy medium to long replies, but can be gone for long periods due to school and other commitments.
Other Notes: When roleplaying with Eolian, his 'mother', Butterfly (pictured on the ref) will likely be involved. She is technically a side character/NPC and doesn't NEED to be involved, if you have a preference either way please let me know. Roleplays with Eolian are usually lighthearted unless those roleplaying with him take it in a more dramatic or negative direction.

Description: A storm has kicked up in Pawsville and Eolian was out and got caught in it. He's absolutely terrified and seeking comfort and shelter. Your character and he run into each other in some way, and things progress from there.

Description: Eolian meets someone at the shelter and the two of them talk about their dreams for the future, possibly go out and about.

Romy: Eolian met her at the festival and the two of them hit it off almost right away, going around playing games and eating good food. By the end of the day he was perfectly comfortable calling her a friend. He thought she looked really pretty in her cute outfit and was surprised that she didn't seem to have any ulterior motive or dark secret during their time together. While they didn't really win much, he had fun for the first time in a long time.
During the tornado, a piece of debris hit Eolian in the head-a potted plant from a nearby florist shop-and knocked him out. Romy found him unconscious and carried him to a hiding place in the corner of a building, where they curled up together in dog form. He woke up to find her snuggled against him and found it feeling completely natural. He's extremely grateful to her for essentially saving her life and is vowing to protect her.
After Romy saved his life, the two took shelter, only to find out that a flood was coming over town. They found out it was headed towards the animal shelter and Eolian freaked out because Butterfly is there, with a broken wing, so there's no way she could fly away and escape. He tried to tell Romy to get to higher ground, but she has refused to leave his side. She's earned his friendship and respect, and he feels all fluttery with her at his side. (c) minti-panda

Tuesday: Eolian met the bird out in a snowstorm and is helping him find shelter. He's pretty fond of the bird already and Tuesday gave him a feather from his wing, braiding it in his hair. Eolian absolutely loves that.
He took Tuesday back to the pet center and introduced him to Butterfly. Both birds can't fly so they bonded instantly, and Tuesday became like a brother to Eolian. Now he's taken the younger male under his wing, much like he did with Len.
He found out that Tuesday got a home and had mixed feelings, especially as the bird keeps talking about death and 'leaving'. Eolian doesn't like that at all and worries immensely over him. He talked things over with him and feels a bit better but you can bet he'll be keeping a close eye on his bird brother in the future. (c) ZydrateAddicted

Magnus: Eolian met this handsome dog on one of his first nights at the shelter. Scared in the new place, especially due to the storm outside, he looked to Magnus for comfort and guidance. (c) TheAwesomeTrina

Alex: After getting out of the shelter for a bit, Eolian met Alex and they played a fun game of fetch. He got to learn a bit about how to interact with people in wheelchairs as well. He has since run into her again and brought her to Avalon for her therapy session!(c) Squiggy13

Lennon: Eolian and Lennon first met in the park, where Lennon had tried to capture Butterfly (being a cat, it was natural for him to). Their relationship had been a bit tentative at first, as Eolian hadn't met another cat before Len, but as they got to know each other, both Butterfly and Eolian adopted the little sassy kitten into their family and their hearts. Now, Eoli sees Len as a little brother and is absolutely dedicated to finding a home that will take both of them, because he refuses to go to any home that won't take his brother as well. He can be very protective of Len, and will likely give an attempt at a 'shotgun' talk to anyone who tries to date the feline. Eolian trusts Len with his life and with the life of Butterfly, and Butterfly sees Len as a second son. (c) Paper-Cities

Savion: Eolian met Savion when he was at the shelter, getting outside to get some fresh air. They had a discussion about whether or not the shelter was actually doing any good, as Eoli had been thrown in there against his will, but in the end they decided to just go play and walk around and get to know one another better. Ace: Another cat that Eolian met while he was out and about. They also had a bit of a rocky start, but after a few interactions they became friends. Especially because Eolian would do anything Ace asked of him, including being a distraction for Ace to steal food from various vendors! The two of them are usually wandering around town to keep from getting bored, and often end up getting in trouble. They stole a scarf together (Eolian was the distraction) that is a nice, light navy blue. Eolian will often wear it and remember a lot of fun times with Ace.
He enjoys meeting up with Ace again from time to time, and was recently out and about when he was introduced to Ace's friend Noah, a horse! (c) Samagirl

Noah: One of Ace's friends he introduced Eolian to! Any friend of Ace's is a friend of his. He likes the horse's laid back personality and sweet caring demeanor. (c) Samagirl

Hideki: Eolian met Hide in the streets of Pawsville after the pup had been out stargazing. They're getting to know each other, and Eolian has taken a huge interest in the fact that Hide is a musician. Now the pup is going to try and help him out, so we'll see what happens next...
Hide seems like a really really nice guy even if he does seem to get really wound up about not being able to adopt every animal. Eolian is enjoying speaking with him. (c) circuszombie

Augustus: Eolian found Augustus abandoned in a stable, and it was his first encounter with a horse. It wasn't really the best, with Augustus chasing him down, so Eolian is now a little shy around horses. Then the male tried to educate him about what mates were, things got a little crazy and emotional. Eolian feels disconnected with him right now, unsure of what he wants, although Augustus says he just wants Eolian to be like his mother. So Eolian guesses he's a mom now? With a horse for a son?
Eolian has matured quite a bit, apologizing to Augustus for handling the horse's feelings poorly. He doesn't really treat him as a son but he does treat him as a friend. A good friend. He was enjoying talking to him at the lake when the horse went into a comatose state. Now he visits him every chance he can, hoping to bring him out of it with updates on Tootsie and the animals in town. He tells him that they're good friends and that he doesn't want to lose him, but at the same time he wonders if maybe Augustus is happier now. It's a lot for him to deal with. (c) MosImagination

Tootsie: Eolian first met Tootsie in the park when she was having a breakdown. He tried to help her and began considering her a friend, maybe even an 'aunt' in his pseudo-family. However, at the park at that time she also attacked a human who appeared innocent to him. He stuck with her though, and after she had recovered from her injuries he hung out with her at the shelter and around town. Then, he met her 'mate', and things went horribly downhill. First she smacked him for saying something he wasn't aware he shouldn't, and then Eolian watched her unable to stop her own mate from breaking one of Butterfly's wings (the bird will never fly again), hurting Cory again, and in his mind, letting him get attacked by Master. This has really put a strain on their relationship, but he still offers her another chance. (c) MosImagination

Master: Eolian started off being intimidated by this male, who was Tootsie's mate. Then things went downhill and got violent. Now Eolian absolutely fears him, but doesn't despise him. He's offering him a second chance alongside Tootsie, despite the male breaking his mother's wing and hurting him and going after Cory. (c) OmnomFox

Avalon: Eolian met him at the same time he met Tootsie, and has heard about him from Lennon. He knows that the man is very kind and level-headed and holds immense respect for him. It's Avalon's way of forgiving and moving on to try and fix everything that inspired Eolian to take a deep breath and try to forgive and move on with both Master and Tootsie. Rooster: Eolian met Avalon's boyfriend during the first Tootsie incident. He was absolutely terrified of the collie at first, but after he submitted to Rooster and got to talk with the male, he realized that he wasn't going to rip him to shreds and was able to relax a bit around him. Although he doesn't consider him a friend, he highly respects him as a higher ranking dog and would not be opposed to getting to know him more in the future. (c) eto-tan

Cory: Eolian first met Cory during the first Tootsie incident, where Cory and he ran into each other quite literally and Tootsie turned on Cory. The ginger was very kind and giving to both of them during Tootsie's recovery, and he and Eolian bonded quite well, both hanging out even after the pups no longer stayed with Avalon/Rooster/Cory. He helped Eolian when the pup was having issues with Augustus, and made sure that he was always getting enough attention and enough to eat. Now he has been injured in the second Tootsie incident and Eolian had jumped out to protect him, because to him Cory is someone worth protecting. He is already very loyal to the young man and cares for him a lot.
Eolian sees Cory as one of his best friends and would do pretty much anything for him. They continually meet up for playdates and while he knows Cory couldn't adopt him and his brother(s), he still enjoys being around him. He sees him as a confidant and a sweetheart and will do his best to be sure Cory is always happy. (c) EnchantedAdopts
