Description
I think I messed up on his boots. I don't think they go up that high on his legs. Oh well... At least when I go to draw him in a pose where his legs are bent, I'll make sure I point that out.I was just pretty much bored at the time.

This is seriously helpful! Considering the way I tend to draw him... and just like most people I suck when it comes to the hands and/or feet xD

Great tutorial! I've seen others, but I learn something new from each--in this case, about Danny's irises not being outlined. I never noticed that!
Thanks for making this!

This is still full of mistakes though.

Maybe so, but even taking that mindset, this makes for a supreme doorway into what could be. It's close enough that you can work with it, and not the kind of mistakes that ruin a piece. I stand by my statement.
And besides, in every piece of art, there's always something in progress. Full of mistakes? So be it. I love it anyway.

Great Job. Sometimes I wonder if I'm one of the only people who don't use a step-by-step type of method, but I probably should. It would help a little bit =3

i never have the ptience to go through all the steps in a tutorial, or to do the little circles and squares and boxes and lines. Probably why my arts not the best. You only get better with practice though.

Very nice job with the tutorial! It was very nicely descriptive and concise, and I like how you paused every now and then to explain what's going on. I also sympathize with you on the hands; they are extremely hard to draw correctly. The pointer on drawing flat ellipses for the bases for the feet was also a big help. That can be used for the foot of almost any character; I have trouble drawing feet in full view position.

Wow. That's the second Danny tutorial I've seen so far. I love to see how other people draw Danny and to see it step by step is almost magical. I used to use gel ink pens too! Then I wanted different widths and such and had to move on to different kinds of inking pens.
I've always sort of winged it when it came to drawing Danny. If I had trouble with him, I just go sight trace some screenshots and pray that I learned something. I never thought of trying to come up with a formula/tutorial before. I want to now. You've inspired me! Thank-you! Your's is great!

Great stuff for figure drawing of any kind, White. Really, I'm going to go try some of this...never knew about putting foot ellipses on the ground plane.
