this one was like a dream really, when eric said he was going home to draw this one night i was so jealous thinking somebody else would get to color an ebas cover with wolves (my favorite animal)
when i started this (flatting it myself) i was really pumped about it, and promptly jumped right in to it feet first.
one thing about jumping into a cover is when you go in only with half your heart you might end up coming back out of it a little before you are done, but you stay safe in knowing you wont be over-thinking anything. but when you jump in feet first, you fall into it and can have your heart broken, much like love in fact.
i had my heart broken, as this didn't exactly turn out as i wanted. i guess in the end i'd wished the sunshine was someplace else.

Just love this and all your work. I wish I could be just a fraction of the colorist you are! You have to come up with some type of video or written tutorial for people who struggle with coloring like me.

I'm drawing one a lot like this one... actually This is more of my inspiration lol. It's the same person just different clothing. My Fiancee loved this picture and he wanted me to draw it in pen but with a little variation in the clothing. I'm no where near as good as you or Eric but I strive to be as good as both of you when I get older

How can you be broken about this. It is stunning, I love the way the sun plays off her hair. You did an Amazing job on the color. I'm also a big fan of the Mercy Thompson novels, you have definately done her justice.

As an artist my self, I know what you mean about jumping into somthing feet first. Sometimes we get a little over excited about a piece. But over all the piece still turned out AWESOME.
