Mane and tail: heather, cut short at neck area but is kept longer at the head. Tail is mid-length and rarely gets paid attention to; Shrapnel doesn't care too much about his looks.
Coat: Slate grey
Eyes: Light turquoise
Distinguishing features: Hooded, ripped scarf, claw marks on right front leg

Lifestyle, Occupation: Mercenary and hunter. Shrapnel lives in a cottage at the edge of Everfree Forest, and spends most of his time hunting. He sometimes goes around socializing in Ponyville, even though he's probably mostly there for the cider. He also explores a lot.
Personality: Shrapnel takes pride in his skills at hunting, marksmanship and skill with daggers, but he doesn't rub it in other ponies' faces until mentioned. He also tends to brag about the scars on his right front leg, telling stories about how a bear once attacked him. Shrapnel often tries to be 'that mysterious badass', but truly is a bit of a softie, and easy to warm up to. He is sociable and friendly, but he also tends to get drunk at nights, more often than he intends to.

So, yah, this is my new OC Shrapnel, a bit less doom and gloom than my usual stuff, I know, but hey, at least he kills things :'D (if that makes any sense) I just really wanted to make an OC in this direction xD

I enjoy drawing him, so you might be seeing him in action in some newer drawings, and I might at one point ship him with somepony, who knows? He seems like the type of pony that would have a wife to care about.
