Name: Tomoda ShiRace: Earth Pony [DECEASED]
Gender: Female
Age: Unknown but she died before adulthood
Tomoda was a young earthie who above all wanted to watch over her best friends. Then one day while playing in the meadow a friend of her disappeared in the forest, never to return. In utter despair and worry she kept searching for her lost friend, calling his name all the time, but she never found him. In the end she lost her way in the woods and died of starvation after days of trotting through the dark forest, ultimately giving her final breath and dropping down dead. She now still roams the Equestrian woods, searching forevermore for the one who she has lost, not knowing of his (nor her own) whereabouts. Her soul is so deteriorated and unstable, that electricity (lamps, tvs) start going haywire when she is close. The location of her own death is unknown.
The name 'Tomoda Shi' is actually a lugubre Japanese word play. 'Tomodachi' means 'friend'...but 'Shi' means 'death'.
Ive been trying for some time to come up with a good horror oc, so please let me know what you think. Therefore, comments are much appreciated.

She can be seen yes, but only at night, because sunlight shines so heavily that she turns completely transparent. And she usually just roams the forest, looking around herself scared and calling for her long lost friend, but sometimes when she sees another pony she gets frustrated and scares them off

Depends on her mood. Sometimes she is happy and plays cute games with some filly who happened to wander into the Everfree, and said filly only finds out later that she had been playing with a ghost all along. Quite the unsettling thought, if you ask me. But never does Shi really have any particularly bad or evil intentions.

Yeah. She may sometimes engage in an innocent conversation with any random adult pony without them even knowing at that moment that they are talking to a ghost. The only things that give away she is a ghost are her unusual cutie mark which is always bleeding actual blood, and the fact that she gradually turns more transparent as the sun rises. The reason why not many ponies notice her cutie mark is because she tends to wear something that covers it.Β

Yeah i think mlp and creepyness go so well together. I mean, cute and creepy creates this certain... contrast, you see? And i love that contrast, since it can also make up for a nice backstory. I love making creepy/grimdark/horror ocs alot :3
