More Shroeder art! This time of Siegfried's father and real mother from my headcanon, Signy. The happy times before her death and before the chaos that fell upon the Shroeder family upon Sigmund;s second marriage.Sigmund's design is based off of trenemre characer design of the Shroeder Patriarch here I must say, it is definitely an improvement since he doesn't look like a carbon copy of Gozauburo and actually resembles his son with his own unique European style.
And the newest design finally helped me with my design for Siegfried's mother So I finally figured out how to draw her.
With Sigmund, he has flowing light pink hair like his son, with Siegfried inheriting his mother's bangs and beauty, I made Signy's hair purple and her signature color purple is because when Siegfried was younger he had dark hair that was almost purple but got lighter as he grew up, and with his purple suit he would be the spitting image of his mother and the fact the color purple symbolizes nobility and grace.
I imagine Signy loving fashion like her son and would often challenge the traditional German and European fashion when she was still alive.

This is good.^_^ It's funny that you have a head canon like this for Zigfried and Leon whereas I have a similar head canon for Chazz, Slade, and Jagger from YGO GX. Except Mr. Princeton's marriage to his first wife was arranged due to his late first wife manipulating his parents, who were already awful people to begin with, into approving of her offer of marriage and he saw through her greedy nature, so he never loved her. She died sometime after Jagger was born (Slade was four when his younger brother was born and basically hated his mother for neglecting him), so Jagger never knew her. Mr. Princeton's marriage to his second wife, on the other hand, was out of genuine love. He was already smitten with her beauty before his first wife died, but didn't want to start an affair due to his late first wife being a well-known reporter and yeah, you know how the press gets.
Anyway, just thought I'd put that out there.

Ah I wonder how his first wife died? I wouldn't be surprised if it was her fault hearing how terrible she was, and for his parents to suffer a similar fate.

I was originally going to have the first Mrs. Princeton die by falling down the stairs accidentally, but I'm deciding to have her die in a car crash coming home from a high class social party drunk. She was a horrible mother, sister-in-law, and wife. While Jagger was spared from being neglected by his mother and was loved by his stepmother, both he and Slade were still conditioned by their paternal grandfather to be the 'best' since Mr. Princeton never wanted his father's lifestyle for any of his kids and yeah, you get the picture. As for Chazz's paternal grandparents, they died of natural causes all alone after they were cut off from the rest of the Princetons.

Mr. Princeton disowned and cut his parents off after they told him in the most condescending way possible that Chazz would never amount to anything when he was a kid. Chazz already didn't want to spend time with his paternal grandparents, so it was easier for him to brush them off and forget that they existed. The only time that he even acknowledged them was when they died. Unfortunately, the emotional abuse didn't end there for Chazz as his brothers, Jagger more than Slade, but still, pretty much learned how to be snobby assholes from their paternal grandfather. I think that you can figure it out from there. It got to the point where Chazz decided to build walls around his heart and stopped believing in the good of people, barring very few exceptions.

Ah I see, at least Chazz got back at Jagger in his duel. I wouldn't be surprised if Seto helped Chazz take over the Princeton empire while having Jagger ad Slade lose everything.

Chazz dueled Slade, not Jagger. Seto did help Chazz build more confidence in himself, but Slade was already in charge of Princeton Corporation and Chazz had zero interest in running that company. In fact, after being in the Pro League and nearly ending his career in a nasty duel with a younger Rex Goodwin (don't ask. I'm convinced that DM, GX, and 5D's take place in the same timeline), Chazz takes over his mom's fashion company and began selling clothes made specifically for duelists since he hated the Turbo Duel racer suits amongst other things.

Thank you, after seeing their 'mother' in the show I didn't believe she was either of their mother as she looked nothing alike to them.
I see Siegfried's real mother as a classy, elegant, funny and charming woman who has class like her son.

She won't be different much, since Yugioh actually gave her a style. But I'll make her hair dark pink and probably detail her dress. I can't decide the name though.
Krimehild is supposed to be the name of Sieg's wife so it's kinda wrong.
Siegelinde is the Nibelungen mother's name but it's too close to Siegmund. It would sound like they are siblings instead of a couple.
Then I saw you named her Borghild in one of your arts. I wonder where it comes from?
Another name I was thinking about is Dorothea. Mother of brothers Grimm, because Leon's character comes from their fairy tales.

With Siegelinde I made sure her name wouldn't be to similar to her husband's.
Borghild is Sigmund's second wife from Nibelung, which is how I got the idea of the current lady Shroeder from the anime is not actually Siegfried nor Leon's mother as it would fit in with the original Nibelung story for Siegfried and Leon from the Brothers Grimm.
