Description

Alright, let’s talk about vore.

Or specifically, the champion giantess of vore, the Naga.

I usually don’t address specific tags of giantess culture, such as feet, vore, entrapment, or growth in these profiles. Well, sometimes growth. But in this case, we’ll be talking about a giantess archetype that saw her birth in the field of giantess vore. We’re talking about the Naga, our very lovely half-human, half-snake maneater that’s touched the hearts of so many.

Note: a lot of this is just my personal analysis: what I’ve learned from observation. Feel free to debate me if you so desire to. Anyway, now to the discussion.

There are actually two kinds of snake-tailed ladies that often times get confused. There is the Naga and the Lamia. While the two are normally used interchangeably, it is important to note that they originate from different sources. The Naga was first made popular in the moe anthropomorphic vorarephilia macrophilia known as “Felarya” written by . The poster child and protagonist, Crysis, is a lovably dangerous young snake tailed girl with a positive outlook on life and an overwhelming desire to mercilessly consume small humans by the dozens. From her, many other naga characters have surfaced over the years, all of them very different in personality but typically sharing the same two traits: being voracious and half-snake.

It is also a part of felaryan lore that nagas can unhinge their jaw like a snake in order to consume larger prey, but personally I find that kind of unattractive. But that does mean that nobody is really “safe” from these massive menaces, not even other nagas who they will actually eat depending on who’s hungry in this situation.

The term “Lamia” was first popularized in the hentai manga known as “Monster Musume” by Okayado. It features a snake girl named “Miia” and her adventures as the accidental room mate of the protagonist whose name escapes me right now. The plot of the story is simple: the protagonist really wants to bang Miia because she’s hot, but it’s illegal because she’s also another species. So he has to weigh the options of “do I want to hook up with Miia for a night, or would I rather not go to jail for the rest of my life? Hmmm…” it seems like a no-brainer, but Miia’s really pretty so there’s a lot of dramatic tension.

Now, Miia does in fact have a snake tail as the lower half of her body. However, she is normal sized and probably not interested in swallowing humans whole and alive. She might be into that as a fantasy, but I doubt she can pull it off in real life. I don’t think Lamias can unhinge their jaw the way that nagas can. But you will see both lamias and nagas in giantess literature, so I’m going to go ahead and establish a defining line.

The big difference between a the lamia and the naga is that generally, the naga is taller and more voracious. The lamia tends to be more of a tease but less quick to kill. Though many people have their own opinions about what a naga and a lamia truly are, this is what I believe them to be.

We’ve distinguished the difference between nagas and lamias now, and since technically the lamia isn’t a giantess by nature, we’re not gonna talk about her. Despite how much I dig Miia, and how awesome a giantess she’d make, she’s not canonically that tall . So the Naga is a 50 to 100 foot tall monstress when standing upright. But from the tip of her tail to the top of her head, she may be around 200 feet. When the Naga moves, her body stands upright while her tail serpentines back and forth much like a real snake does.

As with many monster girls, the anatomy is a bit off. You’re probably wondering “hey, if her lower half is a snake, where’s her snatch?” That’s a good question, considering that this is an analysis of a fetish. The vagina is a very important part of a woman, after all: dudes don’t have them. On a naga, typically the human part of the body ends just below the labia majora before becoming fully a snake. As for the butt, well, I couldn’t say.

Nagas are born in eggs, because they’re snakes. They’re also warm blooded because they are human. As you can imagine, the Naga is a nightmare for biologists to study. Much of their natural features don’t make much sense. Especially since a freshly born naga resembles a woman in her early teens as opposed to a newborn baby. In that regard, you’ll never find a baby with the lower half of a snake, but that would make an interesting monster in a horror film. Feel free to use that idea. Anyway, the Naga is born a young woman and as she gets older, she grows bigger and bigger and freaking BIGGER. Oh, did I forget to mention that when they are born, they’re human sized? They typically start to grow after shedding their first skin. By the way, nagas shed their skin, but just the snake part. They don’t literally shed their entire body. That would be gross.

Of course, not all nagas grow, some of them stay small. In fact, one of the giant Naga’s favorite snacks is a tiny naga. You have to understand that what we call “cannibalism,” in Felarya they refer to as “totally cool to eat.” It may even be healthier for a giant Naga to consume a tiny naga than to consume a human. I don’t know though, I’m not a biologist. And if I was, I wouldn’t study nagas. But even tiny nagas have giant appetites. Despite being humanl size, they’ve been known to gulf down a grown man before. It takes a while to digest, and for like a week the Naga has to lay on her back while the massive bulge in her stomach gradually shrinks, but I imagine that it’s worth it for them.

But a minute Naga alone can’t do that much damage, can she? After all, she’s only like 5 feet tall. She can only swallow one man at a time. A Giantess Naga: that’s a different story. They’re vore machines: able to gulp down a whole school bus full of people and then be ready for seconds. The stomach of a naga is specially made to not only contain a ton of people, but also keep them from getting out. Magic doesn’t work inside of their stomach, and the lining can absorb the full impact of a grenade and be fine. Though I can’t say that the humans inside will be the same after that explosion.

Typically, Nagas are born in their homeland of Felarya. The portrayal of the Naga in this Analysis, whose name is Juno, is a bit of an odd one because as you can see, she’s wearing a bra made from tattered cloth and the teeth of non-humanoid predators she’s killed. The average Naga is very opposed to wearing clothing at any time: mostly because they lack modesty. The protagonist, Crysis, only ever wears a fanny pack which is an interesting choice of attire when you’re completely freaking naked all the time. Juno, who is now my Naga OC, grew up her whole life in the jungle and she loves it there. Plenty of cute fairies to hang out with, lots of warm hot springs to bathe in with said fairies, and best of all: plenty of juicy humans running around.

In Felarya, humans usually end up there and don’t leave. On top of the people who come to this world by choice for whatever reason, there are also those who are accidentally brought to this place whether through a magic portal or accidentally phasing through the fragile reality of a dying dimension into another. It’s so easy to end up in Felarya that people often don’t realize they’re there until it’s too late. But here we see that Juno’s recently woken up and already, a cute little human hiker has stumbled upon her. She didn’t even have to get up and go looking for food that morning.

The hiker didn’t even see this coming. He was actually camping in the Rocky Mountains and was on his way back to the tent when he mysteriously found himself wandering a jungle. But our little friend isn’t getting off easy this time: he’s about to take an oral exam on the human digestion system if you get what I’m saying. Unfortunately for him, it’s customary for Nagas to first play with their food before eating it. It’s their culture: you understand. It’s like how in Japan, you normally take off your shoes before going into someone’s house and in France friends often times greet each other with a kiss to each cheek and in Felarya Naga’s usually belittle and humiliate their prey before dissolving their flesh in stomach acids.

If you’re unfamiliar to vore, I will now explain some terminology. “Mouth play” is when a giantess has a victim in her mouth but instead of swallowing them, she just tosses them around with her tongue for a bit, really savoring the flavor. For a human, it’s a disgusting awful thing to go through, but for a naga, it’s one of their favorite past times. In fact, they sometimes do it to their human friends and not swallow them: that way you get to taste your friend, but not kill them. But that’s what the hiker is about to go through right now: about 15 minutes or so of getting to know Juno’s tongue personally.

Here’s some more terminology: “Hard vore” is when giantesses crush the victim in their mouths and chew until they’re a fine red paste before swallowing. Naga’s don’t enjoying doing that, they usually practice “soft vore” which is where they swallow the person whole, alive, and unharmed. It may sounds like the more “appetizing” of the two to us humans, but then that person has to wait to be dissolved in the stomach acid since that’s really the only way out of this one.

So the end of this hiker is already decided. Juno will play with him in her mouth for a bit, maybe call over one of her fairy friends and the two can “share” the catch between each other by making out and continually pushing him back and forth between the two. Either way, he’s gonna end up in one of their stomachs, and since she just woke up, it could be an hour before her digestion starts us. So that’s a lot of sitting around, waiting in a dank, dark, probably foul smelling squishy chamber until the arrival of a horrid death by corrosive chemicals. But on a brighter note, at least we can be happy knowing that Juno is healthy and satisfied. And just look at her: she’s adorable! How could you hate a face like that?

In the end, vore is kind of an acquired taste (pun intended). By the way, you have no idea how long I’ve waited to make that joke in the right context and I just did. So hurray for me. Not everybody likes it, but those who do like it really stick to it and defend it’s honor. But anyway, the Naga is super cute, but also an eating machine. They can range from being sexy and sinister like Vivian to adorable and friendly like Crysis. But the biggest distinguishing difference between the Lamia Giantess and the Naga Giantess is their eating habits.

But that’s fine, because given the choice between being eaten by a giant, gross looking ogre with saliva dripping from the fangs and boils covering his head...or being eaten by a giant girl with flawless skin, pleasant features, ample breasts, and a smile on her face, most people would probably pick the girl.

It’s gonna suck either way, but hey: that’s vore for ya.

The desire to die from being digested by a hot chick. And what better way, really?

I really think she's cute. But I wonder why these giantesses prey on humans. I'm normally in to giantesses being gentle giants or being kaiju like yilx's original characters destroying cities. Have you thought about doing a GTS profile on kaiju? I always did like kaiju as a kid like Godzilla and King Kong.

Ah, that's a fair point. I think that I actually have seen some gts renditions of the kaiju. Though it goes a bit more into furry territory. Then again, that hasn't stopped me before...

I'll think on it and get back to you; thanks for your thoughts!

Im only interested in the survival aspect of the Felarya.  Something just intrestds me about it. (p.s. a titan from titanfall would be sweet in the Felarya world)

I had something kinda like that in a story I wrote about Felarya. Though it was called a "Slayer" and it was 50 feet tall, but it was pretty much like a Titan without auto-pilot.

Anyway, thanks for the input!

mhh nice takes on snake ladies and Juno looks cute in your drawing   This said, just a little correction but  I'm not the one who popularized nagas ^^ ;  there used to be an artist named snapesnogger who drew nagas before me and her following was huge :3

Really? Snapenogger? I'm really not familiar with her at all. That's so strange...

Did she also a lot of vore? Then I could be totally wrong...

but I feel like you did popularize this particular brand of naga. You're definitely designed the layout for the Felaryan naga which many people use now in thier OCs, even outside of felaryan lore.

Anyway, I appreciate you saying so. My profiles aren't always 100% accurate, but they are always 100% what I know with my basic information and a little bit a research here and there.

Thank you for your thoughts!

You're welcome
And I think she might have done 1-2 vore pieces but it wasn't at all her main focus.

On a fun side-note, my name is inspired by these hybrid creatures. : )

That said, it doesn't mean I particularly like Naga more than everything else (in terms of general content), I just like them. My username is more loosely based off the Warcraft iteration as they're my favorite race in that series.

Oh yeah, I see that! I was wondering if that was the case. But yeah, they're not my favorite monster girl persay, but I definetly like them. Much more than the slug girl, anyway.

Eh, I figured I had to take the time to distinguish the difference. But I will agree that this is among my longer profiles I've done. Not a bad thing though.

Yeah but there are also sub-species of nagas and lamias. Not to mention Gorgons.

Yeah, I know. But at the same time, I tried to keep it limited to the Felaryan Naga because that's just what most people in the GTS community are familiar with. I think.

Not saying that people don't from time to time, but I needed to keep focused on one kind in order to keep it short. It could have been a lot longer, to be honest.

So just to throw this out there but there are actually atleast four different types of snake tail ladies out there.
Lamia(e), Gorgon(s),Naga, and Melusine.
Lamiae and Gorgons can trace their origin back to Greek Mythology,
Naga  trace thier origin to Hinduisism or pre-hindi mythlogy.
While Melusine are creatures of french folklore.

Of course all of their modern interpretations are far pretty far removed from their origins,(hell the name Lamia means shark in Greek) and all vaguely interchangeable these days.

Well thanks for the info Ever. But then are there any key differences between each creature. I know a Gorgon can turn you into stone by their gaze.
