Of course I don't know what God want or not, nor I know his intentions or if he really exist. But in my opinion it's just wrong to discriminate people for their sexuality and it's worse to use religion as an excuse for that!If you don't like homosexuality it's ok. You don't need to be gay nor to have gay friends, but please don't treat homosexual people with less respect than heteros. They are equal human beings like you and me and if you don't understand that, than I'm really sorry for you.

I love the way people say that homosexuality is wrong because it's against God's will even though that the only religion that has the actual word of God is Muslim and even then, it was through a man. Will of God my ass, love is love regardless whether you are homosexual or not.
And for those that disagree, explain to me how it is wrong when the Mandrill Duck are known to have homosexual mates! It's not a chose, it is WHO YOU ARE!!!

Actually this is a fair argument, I hear a lot of people saying god is against homosexuals,
but, if god created everything, he would've had to create homosexuals too.
So yeah, I'm not against religious people, but I am against people who twist their faith to their own interpretations to justify and/or back up their biggoted ideals.

I love your opinion. I always felt that (even though I'm not a Christian or religious very much) that if there is a god, why would he/she/IT look down upon it? Love is beautiful in all its forms. No one has the right to call people names or be cruel because someone is different. It's in the news so much lately, and I just want it all to stop. There is nothing wrong w/ being Bi Straight or Gay, and the sooner the world realizes it, the better off we will all be. I read your journal on the subject as well, it brought a tear to my eye.

haha geeze xD I could picture that for me I think god would rather have a man and women together then man+man or Women+Women , but the thing is though he would love all the same we are all his childern. Its just like...stealing. One man does not steal but another man does, He loves them but does not like what there doing more then the other ,Hmm..he prefurs a man who does not steal then a man who does but Loves him. I feel its like that for homosexuality. For me I'm alright with it I dont hate people or beat people down because of being gay. I'm Lutheran and my religion doesn't believe that homosexual love is right. And it says so in the Bible, several times, that God made man and woman for each other, not man for man or woman for woman. Also that it is a sin. But because I believe that doesn't mean that I can't have homosexual friends, I have a few! And even though I don't believe in it, and think it's wrong, I don't like people who mistreat those who have that belief, because, like you said, they are human beings also.

But how is it wrong to be in love with someone who is the same gender? Like love has definte meaning and it can be expressed in so many ways. The pairing boyxgirl is traditional, I mean if you ask kids in elementary if they know what people from LGBT are, they are most likely not gonna know the answer, since most of them have only known men and women being together.

Because when God created the earth, he put a male and female. And also in the New Testament, it states that a man shall leave his mother and father, and become one with his wife, i.e, marry. God did not want man+man or woman+woman, otherwise wouldn't he have mentioned it in the Bible? You should read the passage on Sodom and Gomorrah. (I believe that it is Genesis chapter 19.)

But here's the thing, the Bible has been in translated time and time again from thousands of years ago. And God had created it, but how do you know some humans decided to change that? Cause only certain people are/were to rewrite/type it into different languages around the world. How do you know that those certain people could of changed it or been translated wrong?
And to add on for what you said before, how is it wrong even without religion? I mean all gays, bisexuals, lesbians, and etc. are doing is loving someone who happens to be the same gender. Love is not be limited and alot of people would agree.

True, but I believe that the Holy Spirit speaks through the Bible, and why would the Holy Spirit allow God's word's to change? Also, many who did in fact translate, (Martin Luther for example) Did so almost exactly with their respective languages. I personally believe that God has made sure that His Word has passed through the right hands.
Well, I also believe that there is no such thing as no religion? Because I belive that if you believe in God, you're a part of religion. But I think there are different types of love. There is the true/right love between a man and a woman, and marriage. The love between gays,bisexuals,lesbians,etc. isn't that type of love.

This is absolutely a true thought! I don't have anything against homosexuals (in fact, I just wrote a comic about one to show how discriminated many of them get, and how they don't fit in with the rest of the group), and I don't think god hates them! I'm sure he loves all his people, and he doesn't care if one of his beings is gay, or not.
