Description
(Fullview = 720*480, download not necessary)Face Off v1 - The intended version in the Featured section
Face Off v2 - the inverted version in the Alternate Versions folder
>Face Off v3 - The furry version
Not secure enough to face the world as she sees herself, and not understanding that some would appreciate her uniqueness, she hides behind a semblance of normalism. Beneath her surface - beneath all surfaces - the true face can not but hope ...that someday it will be unveiled to the world.

I posted this version just to show the full amount of work put in to it. Like an ego-booster. Except this appears to be much more popular than my more-artistic version. Like a face slap. Anyway, please read Face Off v1 for the full Artist's Comment. Please. And thanx.

Aww f*ck it, the inspiring artist was RoseOnyxis. The inspiring dev's were 'Face Off' and the 'Turning' series. BUT, I won't link 'cause I don't like rejection. Feel free to make use of your Address Bar, I won't hold it against you.

Thanx a bunch, miss So glad you enjoyed it!
To let you know, the "Face Off" title was inspired by deviant RoseOnyxis' "Face Off" image you'll find here >> [link]
Her image, and in fact my image were created at least a year before the "Face Off" TV show premiered. Just pure coincidence, I think

Mhmm, she was pretty good. I don't like to promote her too much though, 'cause she was quite rude when I asked her about using her photo for a base. I understand not wanting to participate in my work, but being rude was entirely unnecessary. Fortunately I found a wonderful stock artist - ~hatred103 - who consented

- I'll be honest sir, I don't technically add fur at all. It's really just a blending of cuts from one or more photos of the animals depicted. I wish I could be a real artist like I consider or to be, but this is the only method that I can successfully (to my eye) pull off. I've come to call it cut&paste, which I think is about as acurate as it gets. Like the music genre, cuts from other bits of the same media strung together to make it the artists' own.
- And yeah, it's CS4. My tools have improved, but to me my results seem quite similar. AND thanx for the compliment

Muchas gracias, seΓ±orita. Heh, sorry, I learned a bit of Spanish back in my High School days. I don't know Wayuu, Paez, Embera, or Romani at all though Sorry I haven't much time to read many poems, but from the few I did, and the drawings I saw you're apparently quite talented. I'd say keep it up, but I have a feeling you plan to.
