This is a tutorial on how to make a blinking avatar, because many people ave asked me how to make them.I know I didn't really explain very well, but if there are any questions just ask me

Can you tell me what you use? And if it is safe and virus free? I want to make one of these but everytime I buy adobe flash player or whatever I dont know what to do it looks hard so I just delete it please help me

I have to thank you sooo much because without this blinking tutorial I never would of had a go at making my icon by following your simple steps! you explained it so well and so easy to understand (except when it came to photoshop coz I got PSe8 which made it hard to find out how to animate.. NOT THE POINT) BUT SERIOUSLY! xD Thank you! So much!

Wht? I tried to make one by just using photoshop. I have 19 layers and clicked at animation. But i only get one layer in the animation bar D:

you have to make new layers in the animation bar, and paste the layers into the animation bar layers
I think I confused myself XD

I think you could drag and drop,
but I usually, click on the layer I want to be in the animation bar, then create a new layer,

By the way~~~ How to I make a copy of it because when I make anoher layer in Photoshop and I rub out a part if the eye, it also does the same with the first layer..

I use the Rectangular Marquee Tool to highlight it then press Ctrl C to copy, Make a new layer and press Ctrl V to paste it,
On the first layer make sure the eye next to it is turned off, then try to rub out the eye on the seconed layer,
