Just in case you don't appreciate the amount of time and effort I put in to picking out colors, I added an enormous color pallet. I'm not sure if it'll help ANYONE but, I added it anyway.

I have a question,how do you do shading for color changes (ie the darker legs of the bay, or paint, or roan)?
like do you just shade and change the colors for each bit, little by little?

Just a quick question: Do you change the opacity of your brush when your painting? I'm about to paint a horse I've drawn [scary] and I'm wanting to make my self proud xD

wow how long does it take you to do these? and am i right in saying you use corel?

mhm I use Corel Painter Essentials 4 and it takes anywhere from 4-6 hours all things depending.
