Description
So, Terry and I have been discussing the ins and outs of androids for the Wild Space Saga mythos. If you've been reading our stories, I gave a glimpse of them in "Combat Pay Blues," (available in our book on Amazon), and Terry gave a bigger picture of them in our ongoing story, "Mercenaries." From what you've seen, you know they're BAD news.I REALLY wish I could tell you just how bad. Guess you'll just have to keep following us to find out.
Once finished, this drawing will be pretty cool, and I hope it will display their menace properly. Stay tuned, fellow travelers!

Yyyyyeah ... you would think that ... until you learn that they can do what the Borg do. And even of you manage to kill one ... let's just say it's not quite the last time you'll be seeing him/her.

Well, I was inspired by the Silicates from Space: Above and Beyond when I designed their eyes, but if they downloaded after death (sorry, never watched the series in its entirety, so I never learned everything about Silicates), then yeah.

Well the silicates can upload data into one another's bodies without any data limit. Leroy comedy unit 12986 tortured Lt. Wong and unit 15446 knew all about it saying "That was a very, very bad, Leroy unit." Wong went off and tortured a Leroy till it shut down.He even had a full transcript. The fact is I am not sure they transfer over completely or just share data.
