Description
The Second Imperium employs various different classes of space vessel for its purposes.

The Piranha is one of the smaller patrol craft and is often used as a system patrol vessel. There is a variant of the Piranha known as the Catoprion which lacks the prominent Rift Drive mounted between the exhausts of the main thrusters. The Catoprion however is faster and more manuverable at sublight speeds as a result. Both feature spinal mounted anti ship MAG cannons.

The Arapaima is a larger more heavily armed and armoured vessel designed for heavy engagements and standing its ground. It features twin spinal mounted MAG cannons, with two more smaller anti ship guns either side. The Arapaima also carries a complement of Hammerhead fighters.

The large 'slash cut' intakes are bussard collectors the pull in interstellar hydrogen allowing the fusion cores to run for extended periods without resupply.

Both ship types feature numerous missile pods and countermeasure systems.
