Description
The Shadow Star is a restored post-war transport vessel. The original superstructure dates back nearly 100 years. The only thing that justified the cost of its recovery and restoration is its main power source, the tesseract drive. After the Imperium Wars much of the advanced technology of the era was lost along with the means to build it. Tesseract drives were once common, highly efficient and extremely powerful. The discovery of a ship with a still functioning tesseract is worth at least ten times the cost of its recovery.

Shadow Star, then known as the Grey Star was a fairly innoccuous R-15J armoured military transport. The cause of the crash is unknown but it lay undiscovered for some 80 years among the forests of Blair before being recovered by Paige and MTHI.

The nose section and part of the underside was damaged beyond all repair and so was simply removed in favour of a new bespoke underslung bridge unit.
