In-Universe Notes:
Akoss sits a single long hyperdrive jump north of recently-liberated Lemer. A steamy world of jungles and high mountains, it is inhabited by a millenia-old Monarchy led by the titular "Duke of Akoss." of the House of Coruphanxos. Despite the house and the people it has ruled since the days of the early Republic claiming descent from the infamous Pius Dea, the population no longer remains truly human, having evolved unaturally quickly to acclimatize to their homeworld, which they love so much they refuse to leave beyond it's it's moons and surrounding star system.

Despite their spelndid isolation however, the threats to such peace were never ignored, and the Duchy of Akoss is defended by a proud force of warriors steeped in Pius Dea crusader traditions and doctrine, most notable in their frequent use of melee weapons and shields to assist in getting in close with foes. Their armor is light and flexible, made of a local variant of Durasteel, while the bodysuit is cloth from local fabrics, padded and tailored in such a way to effectivley absorb concussive or blunt force.

Officers of the Ducal Army are marked out with black bands across their armor, a small written plaque spelling their rank, and sometimes with golden-colored highlights to their armor.

Out-of-Universe Notes:

This one underwent a LOT of iterations, it started out as just some random red armor, then I decided to make it a second go at some Sith armor I made a few years ago. That angle didn't pan out so I removed the Sith iconography and changed the color to blue, at which point I remembered Akoss was a thing I'd never gotten around to visualising the outfits for, so it became theirs. Hope you enjoy.
