Description
LoreThe first branch organized into a modern and standardized form, the Alliance kept it's strong Naval tradition even as it evolved into the New Republic. Abandoning the traditional Tunic-and-Vest of the earlier Alliance command staff, an Imperial-Styled single breasted coat was adopted, colored deep blue. Black trousers were also standardized for Enlisted and NCOs, but solid blue with rank piping assigned to Officers. The new uniform regulations were officialy published in 5 ABY, but not adopted fleet-wide until 9 ABY with the surrender of the northern Core. Additionally, as the fleets expanded and new ones were raised, assigned fleet was designated by a plaque bearing a colored stripe on the right arm and a band on the left wrist.
