Description
Background.

The Prison-Planet of Trond Naome sits within the Calsolon Sector, an out-of-the-way colony of the Commission of the Tarunus Arm. It houses the facilities for 10.2 Million inmates and roughly 700,000 Staff. The prison-complex itself is policed by the grey armored Warders alongside lighter Attaindants for the low-security zones. While the inmates are generally comprised of the absolute worst criminals the Commission encounters in it's daily struggle to maintain state cohesion; Chrono bandits, war criminals, mutationists, serial tax-evaders, Genocidally-negligent Jaywalkers....And far, far worse.

Many sections of the planet formerly have housed sections of the continents-spanning prison, and many of them are now lost to the central administration. Deemed "Wild Zones" they contain many feral, degenerated descendants of inmates and staff, alongside mutated monstrosities and malfunctioning self-aware robots. They also contain the ruins of former armories, administrative complexes, warhouses, prisons, and other structures, some of which contain great prizes for the desperate or the foolhardy who dare to break onto the prison-planet and enter it's now-untamed wastelands.

Equipment.

Sender and Receiver Antenna
The Mark-XV Deredd-pattern helmet supports a full and state-of-the-art communications suite, with the ability to send and receive messages across the entirety of Trond Naome in miliseconds, and link relevant information to the HUD integrated into the one-way visor.

Sigil Commbadge
Integrated into the helmet as well by microfilament wiring, the comm-badge allows instant activation of a microphone embedded into all Warder's throats that picks up the vibrations of their vocal chords and allows them to speak without making audible noise.

Vaccum-Sealed Bodyglove.
The bodyglove is a cheap and reliable garb for both defensive purposes and hazardous enviromental conditions common to some of the older areas of the Prison Complex, particularly in the Northern Cells where temperatures regularly reach well below zero...

...Kelvin.

Flux Beam Stun-Cannon.
A non-lethal form of weapon, the Warders and Attaindants both are armed with such weapons, though for the Attaindants it is in the form of a regular rifle, for the Warders it is mounted to their right gauntlet and integrated to the PerPetMo-12 Power-Pack mounted along their backs. It uses a series of electro-acidic waves which pulse over a target and render them unconscious within seconds.

Tachyon Beam-Cannon.
The rarely-used (Outside of the high-security wards.) weapon most commonly used by the Tarunus Military, Tachyon Beam-Cannons fire specially tuned faster-than-light particles at their designated targets. When neccecary the output of these particles may be altered by the control surface to allow them to travel either forwards, backwards, or sideways in time once fired, primarily used for dealing with either chrono-bandits who have somehow gotten their hands on temporal travel technology, or during the rare occurances foes with time-altering abilities raid the planet for plunder or rescue attempts.

I wanted to make something a bit pulpy, so...here. I don't know if I'll ever expand on this concept or setting but if I do, it will probably be a bit whacky.
