The African Pygmy Falcon, Polihierax semitorquatus, is the continent's smallest bird-of-prey. They reach only 20 cm/8" in total length. They inhabit dry regions, in Southern and North-Eastern Africa, because they live in the huge communal nests of Sociable Weavers (in South Africa) and buffalo weavers (in North-East Africa). Even though they sometimes catch the weavers, they're often tolerated, the weavers remaining in their nests while an apartment or two are inhabited by a couple of falcons. They eat mostly lizards. I knew and liked these form the pictures I saw, but I had no idea about the weaver nests- super cool! And I love how you managed their poses, too- they look natural, show faces ad neck plumage while also clearly showing the back where they differ the most. As usually, great work from you
