EDIT There was white around the edges of the picture and all attempts to repair it were unsucessful, so I had to delete, rescan and re-submit- sorry for any trouble.
I guess the only way to get better at background is to do them, so that's what I'm going to say here, because that background didn't turn out so well, to say the least
Lookit the hair, LOOK AT IT! It almost actually looks like hair! YAY I'm beginning to figure out hair.
Oh, guess what? The way I do fur is about to make a massive change. I can feel it, not sure where it's going but it's going to change- though it's not in this picture, you'll have to wait untill my next to see where it's going
So, uh, yeah, I guess I don't hate this picture- and that's saying a lot when I'm talking about one of my own pictures
Let me know stuff.

I love your coloring as always, and you are just improving very much! I especially love the way the fur is colored where the black meets brown on her thigh and tail, omigeesh wow! I would so love to see an original of one of your pictures someday, to see how badly the scanner really kills it, because to me, they all look fine...but yeah, thats the way it always is with other peoples art...

I'm hoping the change is an improvement, but weather or not it is, I really have no control over it, I can't help how I do things, seriously. If my fur is changing, there is nothing I ca do, and it scares me, because I have no idea how it's going to change, I just know it probably will.

What the hell-! It just submitted for no REASON! It was so WEIRD!
I was going to continue, "Yay for cross-hatching!", but... *is even more irritated* Also, I was going to say, great job on the fur pattern, it's really natural. Also, hooray for new poses. I like how you've done the limbs, but the feet bug me a little. A different angle for you, eh?
Also, I like the background. The "high desert" landscape fits with the animal (Wolf? Coyote? Not a canid expert...) very nicely, and brings out the fur's yellows. Yay for you! Damn my computer!

Hm, I was going to mention the cros hatching, I used it to make the big brick things have texture. I rally suck at cross hatching
Ugh, the feet, trust me, they really annoy me. I mesed them up, and was too lazy to fix them! XD
The animal is part wolf, part too lazy to get correct anatomy. I'm not stingy about that sort of thing

Heheh, yeah, it was roughly 3 a.m. at that time. Also, it was a school night, so I had to wake up 7:00 a.m. the next day (today). I never get much sleep
