The expression on the girl's face is priceless. She looks so enamored w/ her doll.

Thanks very much for your comments! Seeing the quote on your comment, I just saw a documentary last night and they said that Robert Capa went on the first wave onto the beach at Normandy. He was so intent on getting the pictures of the soldiers' faces, he actually waded through the water backwards as the volley of shots rained down on them. He changed the film, but his hands were shaking so much, he didn't change it again. Because of a problem with the chemicals in the developing of the images, only about 16 of his images that day were salvageable---the rest were ruined. He risked his life to take these images---the soldiers with him couldn't believe that he would go in the first boat without being under orders to do so. Just a bit of info I thought interesting----hope you do too.

Where do you take the majority of your shots? Against a white wall with window light? It looks almost studioish. I love it

You're not the first to ask about the lighting on this one...I used a light diffused through a white umbrella, and a reflector---with a white seamless paper background---in my living room, which is serving as my studio.
