Yup.. Still the best feather tutorial out there. I've used your techniques for a couple years now and was hoping there may be a better one now that I've come back to deviantart? but nope! This one still kicks ass ^^

Awesome! I really like the inner (white) feathers - they have a good texture.

Wow! Very nicely done!
I looked at this tutorial and thought, "Oh boy... I have a LONG way to go to graduate from my comparatively primitive feathers."
Thank you for the lesson! I will surely put it to good use.

These wing tutorials are very helpful. I haven't drawn many bird-winged creatures because i find drawing feathers so hard... but these make it seem a lot easier! Thanks. Definitely gonna have to try practicing drawing bird wings now!

I can't wait to see the patterned feather tutorial because I have a Jennaei(a species of winged people I created) character who's wings are mostly white with pale, buttery yellow on the undersides of her wings(just the coverts), and orange edging her all her coverts on the topsides. I've been slowly killing myself trying to figure out how to make her wings look how I want, both in shape and color...and your tutorials are life saver.
Thank you!

Will you do one with markers, too?
