Description
The sound of soft weeping drew Alahhaois into the willow grove. He brushed aside long leaf tendrils which waved and whispered in the breeze as he followed the sound. At last he came upon the form of his sister, curled up beside an old trunk. Her face was buried in her tiny hands as she sobbed, tiny wings limp behind her."Azalea, what's wrong, little one?"
The tiny girl looked up, pudgy face pink from crying and shining from tears. Sniffling, she wiped her eyes with her palms and looked at Alahhaois with bright, blue eyes.
"M-mom and dad won't teach me to fly. I a-asked them yesterday and they said they might today...b-but--" She choked back a sob. "---then today, they told me to go away."
The gold eyes of her older brother softened. Kneeling down, he smiled and held out his hand.
"Don't worry, Azalea. I'll teach you. How does the oak forest sound?
She sniffled momentarily, before brightening with a smile. "Yes! Just promise you won't let me fall, okay?" She took his hand.
"Never, little sis. I'd never let you fall."
Alahhaois with his little sister, Azalea. The story seems so sweet and benign, doesn't it?

This is so cool, and I find it a bit ironic too! I had just begun drawing a picture extremely similar to this, and two days later I spot this gorgeous peice up as daily dev. It certainly does deserve it!
The similarity of the picture I was drawing to this still shocks me, though.

Your more then welcome, this is really awesome and kinda reflects on my life ^_^ My siblings tought me alot and almost all of them are older then me other then my twin of cource, your piece really meens alot to me ^^.
I kinda think of teaching her how to fly like when my older brother Mark tought me how to draw, I never felt so alive as I did when he finaly showed me how to draw when everyone els was to busy at the times that I wanted to learn, all the way up untill I was 12 he tought me the best ways to draw and always made me feel like I was the center of his world while we practiced

I dont feel there is much differents in the two, I feel like when you draw there is no limit to your potential. In a way kinda like flying
Sometimes I wish I could fly cause of how pretty things look up there. But drawing really does feel the same cause big or small, its amazing and makes you feel as free as ever

His one elbow just looks a little strange to me, and the positioning of the ears seems strange; maybe that's what he looks like. I'm wary of offering too specific a critique because he's a fairy and your imagining of him might be different than just "human with wings stuck on." Oh to afford copics. *sigh*
