Description Yay for the Sherlock Holmes Adventure Games! I really DO like them. <3

Each game had great highlights... I'm still giggling about them. xD Would be great mini comics....
At the moment I'm playing the latest one, SH versus Jack the Ripper. There is this one moment when Holmes lies on the sofa and Watson complains that Holmes has done nothing during the last week while Jack the Ripper is still free and probably is just about to kill his next victim.... and Holmes replies somehting like this: But Watson, I AM working, can't you see?
I just love how you can walk around Holmes and look at him in every angle and if you're getting closer he looks at you. It's great. ^^
Uhm, right at the beginning there was this first murder and Holmes and Watson try to reconstruct how the murder was done and Watson has to lie on the ground while Holmes bends over him with his hand over Watson's mouth to prevent him from screaming... I have to admit it DOES look a bit slashy. xD (but only if you want to see it)...

The wierd thing is... I ordered this game yesterday, and while I'm waiting for it to come in, I have started watching the walkthroughs. This bit had just happened when I decided to take a quick break and look at some pictures on deviantart... and BAM. This was staring me right in the face.

I'm only watching the walkthroughs so I don't get stuck on the first puzzle, and to get myself hyped up for the game. I promised myself I won't watch the final walkthrough.

It's my fav Sherlock game! His voice is... aaaah I can quickly fall in love
I think, this game is the best to show you the real Sherlock. His voice and his face - totally looks like I ever imagined. Frogwares done a nice job. You too.

Absolutely! I loved how they modelled Sherlock for these games. He was the same in The Awakened, Versus Lupin and JTR... and as it seems he'll be roughly the same in the next game... with a little make-over,meaning more detail. :3 I hope the voice actors stays the same too.

Yes but he looked different in The case of the silver earring. His voice is much deeper in Ripper, although that was the same voice actor...
I've seen some screenshots from the next game and heeey this game will be aweseome, even if it will never run on my computer
But his face is changed, he looks like an action hero for me.
I love Sherlock anyway. I completed the Ripper game 2 weeks ago and I can't resist, today I will start again

Yeah, I actually thought he looks much like the russian actor of Sherlock Holmes in the silver earring... xD
True, the more details in his face make him look like some kind of actin hero... also it has changed a little from what they had in the earlier games. BUT we'll see how it looks in game. I can't wait!
If I have time I'll replay the other games... it's just so much fun! xD

That was such a suggestive scene in the game, I admit I was giggling a lot lot lot HEHEHEHEHEHEH. I recognised this scene instantly. It stood out as a great little piece of character play.

I was up till 4am to finish The Ripper, hurrrr. Great game.

The Sherlock Holmes Adventures from Frogwares. Just google them and you'll find something like The Awakened or SH versus Arsene Lupin or Jack The Ripper. They are great!

No need to buy the whole game if you haven't played them before, that scene is also part of the demo-version... I'm sure you will find websites that offer the Demo of SH versus Jack The Ripper. But then it's worth buying the whole game as it is just brilliant! Go buy it, play it and then tell me what you think!

The game is really good. I thought first they would change the actual facts about JTR to make them fit to the story but no, they had the facts and built the story logically around the facts. After playing the game I was thinking... my, why did they never find out who JTR was, it's so easy with the game and Holmes reasoning has sense and everything seems so logical. Well, you'll see... please don't forget to tell me what you think.

I gave it a go! I don't play PC games all that often so it was really cool to try it out. IT WAS PRETTY INTERESTING. even though I totally fail at deductions and such ("HMMM I GIVE UP LET'S JUST RANDOMLY GUESS EVERYTHING XD"), I liked the way the arguments were set out. very logical. and also educational, haha. oh, and that reenactment of Polly's murder was VERY slashy indeed.. I may have stared at it for much longer than I should have XDDD

Oh-oh... if you only guessed in this game, then don't play the others. The deduction-system in JTR is actually the easiest, in my opinion. At least I did not loose patience with myself that quickly and therefore only looked twice at a walkthrough and only to certify my theory.
But I am glad you liked it anyway. ^^
