Great picture, especially expressions! I've always felt sorry for Watson at that moment. And I love those moments when Holmes does something stupid/clumsy and then it appears to be part of his cunning plan

Well, not impressed, but learned over the years to trust Holmes so maybe he does not mind so much. I like in story of Devil's Foot, when Holmes was walking so clumsily, that he knocked over some water can, and flooded two people's shoes. Of course straight away I knew he done it on purpose

I know I know... but... I couldn't remember the facts of the case and the title of the story... that's why I couldn't get the lines for ages... I had to skim all the stories which titles didn't immediately gave me the content and that... I am afraid.. .where 3 or 4... -__-

I confess that I don't remember the case well, either. XD I tend to forget case details from the stories I've read/watched less but remember rather well what Holmes and Watson are doing during the story.

Yes, I did this in watercolour. My choice of colour was aweful though so I changed it to greyscale and added a filter. ^^°

You have just inspired me to read all of those stories now. Fantastic illustration and I love the facial details. You managed to put a great deal of character in their faces. And for some reason my eyes keep looking at how perfectly straight cut Holmes looks. All of his lines flow downward and upward and kind of give him a larger than life illusion.
