Description
"Testament of Sherlock Holmes" by Frogwares. Get it. Play it. Love it. xDJust a ... quick drawing really, because I wanted to draw Holmes super relieved expression when Watson came unexpectedly to his rescue.
Also, I love MyPaint. xD It's such great software for colouring skin. I'm in love with it! <3

This Scene was <3-melting. I was so glad for Watson that hee after all his struggles and doubts never give up and finaly brought back his old Friend Holmes.

I actually cried during that scene. It was so heart-breaking and beautiful, finally Holmes and Watson were back together again as they are supposed to be

Yeah! I was glad they met each other there. I'm not sure Holmes would have lasted long there on his own...

I totally agree. Though I wish they had made the whole game last a little longer by showing how Watson investigated on his own and so on, would have been awesome

Yeah, would not in the least have been bad at all. it felt a bit rushed at that point.

Great! This reminds me of a touching moment in the film Young Sherlock Holmes where Holmes, Watson and the rest of the school boys are sitting around eating dinner and sharing what they want to be when they grow up. When it is Sherlock's turn he answers that he never wants to be alone, which is very moving when you consider the partnership he and Watson are destined to have. One thing I love most about Sherlock (amongst literally thousands) is that though he isn't the most effusive man on the exterior, underneath the mask he puts on he is the most caring and loving man in all of fiction, especially when it comes to those he cares deeply about. Wonderful work here of capturing that.

Yeah! That was such a meaningful moment in the film, I totally agree.
and... that's a bit straying from the topic but... I only recently watched a film in which Holmes was played by the same guy who played Professor Rathe in Young Sherlock Holmes. xD I find it so funny when actors play different characters of the same story in different films/plays and other productions. Of course they always do it well but... still...

That's CBS's Sherlock Holmes Returns, similar with their 87' production "The Return of Sherlock Holmes".

It is interesting. Hell, even the late great Jeremy Brett tried his hand playing Dr. Watson, which is weird to imagine since he is so quintessentially Holmesian.

the Crucifer of Blood <3 And once it had been adapted into a film, I've remembered that horrific stuff......in Chinese dubbing.
I prefer Brett portraying Watson actually.

Yeah, if I was an actor Holmes would be one of my greatest dream roles. He's just so endlessly fascinating, and a lot of who he is is subtle, which men like Brett and Cumberbatch have effortlessly conveyed with just a mannerism or glare of the eye. Unfortunately, I'd say that if I had a big bushy mustache I'd look more like a Watson than Holmes as well, but my best friend has very elongated facial features and a somewhat Holmesian nose, so maybe it could work out well once I got a medical degree and we bought a flat in London, committing all our free time to solving crimes.

xD That's what we then have cosplay for.... while I'd prefer to be someone I also naturally resemble, it still allows anyone to be who they want to be. xD
I've got the top hat already.... just need some nice Holmesian dress and I go as Miss Holmes to my next convention.

Yeah, that would be nice.
I... don't really support the ship of Irene Adler and Sherlock Holmes BUT... I realised that rather calling it "Adlock" (which is just pure weird) ... it should be called "Sherlene" ... which is actually now my favourite name in general and should I have a chance to give it to a child of mine... I will! xD
Until then maybe I should be Sherlene Holmes instead?

Thanks!
I actually installed MyPaint on a Mac before but... it's an old version. D: It misses the frame option I think as well as the mirror option. Which I quite like. D: Other than that, the watercolour brush is there. Of course there are other brushes too. It's very very limited compared to Photoshop but I really love working with the settings that I have found for many of my images now.

I was too lazy to install because it turned out that my dad already had it on his Ubuntu.
The brushes are incredibly good! I haven't quite figured out how everything works yet, but I'll certainly try it again. o3o

Ah, even better. I use the watercolour brushes a lot. Especially with the water blender right next to them. xD
I haven't even yet tried to change the brush settings so there are even more options even for me still yet to explore.

Aw, the old games aren't so expensive at all. And especially on Steam, they are all really quite affordable. Compared to other games, that is. Never forget these games, they eventually must be played! xD

Ah. It's like a PC platform and online store for games of all sorts, big famous games and tiny indie titles. You need an account for it but then you can buy, install and play the games via there. I don't know if it's possible for you to do or arrange and have done for you but it's another alternative (an cheaper often) for buying a boxed version of a game.
