NOT-ART
This is the doodle that ate my free time. Seriously- ought to be in the scraps folder (or not scanned in at all) but before I knew where I was I'd pulled out the prismacolor markers and started fiddling with contrast and backgrounds in photoshop, and... yeah, here it is. But it's still a sketch ><;;;

And a bad one. As in, no references, no pencil, totally off the top of my head. It's a brain stutter- a freudian slip, if you will XD Actually, I *had* intended to do a piece with Dib sans glasses at some point in the future, because draws an awesome and inspirational glassesless Dib, but I was thinking of something very much darker and shadowed and more generally in tune with what the tone of the series. I had thumbnails and everything, there was *layout* and it would have been awesome. The only thing *this* had that that had is the switching of the glasses from nose to lack of nose. >___>

Speaking of, I *am* rather proud of myself for having realized that the only way Zim could wear glasses would be if they were held up by some outside force, because... ja, no nose or ears. Of course, in the planned picture he would have been holding them up himself and looking rather evil over Dib's shoulder.

And Dib? WAY too happy here. (Also messed up face, but you can't erase a pen.)
