I’ve wanted to draw this for ages now. Blessed be my winter break. Based on the script for ’10 Minutes to DOOM’, which might have trumped my current best-loved Zim episodes to become the absolute favorite, had it ever been produced.Things I Like:
: The Dib could actually be twelve-ish here. I did my level best to make sure that he did *not* have a teenaged body type. Or a female one, since I *was* modeling for myself (yes, that pose is possible. Painful, but possible.)
: The face. In the (many) sketches I did for this piece, I was always worried that I just wasn’t getting across the pain of this situation- all the red smears in the world can’t match one good visceral grimace. And *that* was done without reference. I think it all worked out, thank goodness.
: Breaking the box. Gawd, I love doing that. Raar.
Things I Don’t:
: The colors. This was finished (colors amped up web consumption) on a different computer, and I think it re~ally… grayed this out.
: You tell me the problems, and I’ll flip out about them. Er. In a good way. Please?

Dib took Zim's PAK and, since it's like a parasite, it attached itself to Dib's stomach to slowly and very painfully take over his mind and body 
But alas, Nickelodeon said it was too dark, and they didn't want the protagonists to die in case they decided to bring the show back after it had been canceled, so it never happened

That's crazy. I read the plot/storyline of it. It would've been-a great episode...
And I love how you drew this. They'd never show blood in the show, but if this ep was done in anime-style, there'd probably be blood for intensity.

10 minutes till doom is actually kind of a creepy episode if you think of it, especially this scene. Then again it was made by the lord and savior; Jhonen, soooooo whadya expect? lol xD
I really like this picture, I dont see anything wrong with the colors, the grayishness ( hooray for my vocab ) adds effect! But, of course, everyone has their own opinion.. :3

Is that supposed to be Zim's pak? Or is it one of Zim's crazy weapons? Either way, this looks like it sucks painfully for Dib. Kinda makes ya feel sorry for him.
