Hello people.

This is supposed to be a project with A.C.E productions with my friend *aremOgraphy for a certain client. However, it seemed that the client didn't liked it, but I did my best anyways.

These are simple 5 TIPS to help you guide your way to character designing with children's book illustrations. This may not be that all perfect, but what the hell, we are all in the journey of learning anyways, right? I hope this will inspire you to grab your pencils (or stylus) and make your way to character designing! weee

I know this is kind of an old thing, but why did you feel the need to say "he loves to wear pink- but he isn't gay"? It felt kind of... Rude and vaguely homophobic. Sorry if I'm kicking a dead horse or if your opinions have since changed (or if you didn't think of it that way to begin with) but I just felt like it needed pointing out... :/

Just out of curiosity, why does Chino wear purple? I'm not sure I get the connection between Chinese/purple, I always associated it with red, haha xDD

hello~ First of all, thank you zefirael.
Chino wears purple because to SOME Chinese people, purple is a lucky color (depends on the year), and in the story, their Chinese Deli Moon cake store's theme is purple. Red is the most famous though.

Hmm, maybe... sadly I'm actually not very well-informed on Chinese culture, probably because I moved to Australia when I was 4 and have been living there ever since, heheh.
Is there anything in particular you want to know, though? x)

I think with mooncake, it's only very popular at the time of the mid-autumn festival, at other times of the year it's not a common/staple food, so you could rethink that? x)
