THE RESULTS ARE IN AND HOLY SMOKES!

So to explain really quick, when I saw the competition I knew this was gonna be a tough match up. Kai and Autumn are all from really unique comics. So the fact I got a message and found out that Kai had won and Autumn and Tala actually TIED!? Wild, insane. Considering there was a lot of ties this year pretty much shows how strong most of these comics were this year, and 100% both Kai and Autumn deserve the spots they did. Of course, it wouldn't be me if I just said "here are winners here we go". Nope! I'm gonna give a analysis/lil blurb about each of the other Best Main Character!

I won't go into Tala from Severance (aka my comic) but you can click on the title and read it there!

Kai is a really insanely unique comic, mainly because it centers on a Team Skull grunt being thrown a loop and being "blessed" to join the trials. Now Kai isnt exactly excited for this, in fact he comes off as someone with a chip on his shoulder and wishing to just mess with and/or disrespect the society and traditions of Alola. This makes him rather unique due to the fat he's one of the rare Nuzlocke protagonists that are reluctant in their journey. This is a great contrast to the rest of the world and Alola as a whole. Its due to his humor, rough around the edges but really has a soft side, and his reactions to his surroundings that makes this trainer that just wishes he could get off this trial run and go back to messing around with Team Skull a really fun protagonist. He absolutely deserved his 1st place this year.

Now I gotta say really quick that I am super honored to have Tala share the 2nd place with Autumn. Autumn is a super sweet girl who really feels like someone taking the best out of her situation. Autumn in Sinnoh is actually a human! Yep, this nuzlocke's unique aspect comes from the fact its a Nuzlocke with a PMD twist! However, what makes me love Autumn is her realistic reaction to her circumstance, she goes through deinal and panics before picking up herself and trying her best to try to figure out a way home. The fact she has to deal with the danger of being a pokemon and there may be no way home, you can already see behind her blunt and sunny attitude that she has amazing persistence to get to her goals.

Finally thank you so much for all the votes, this year felt really amazing and the fact that you all like my comic so much that I placed and even tied for 2nd makes my heart so freaking warm. Thank you again so much for everything, and I hope you continue to enjoy the comic and I'm so excited to show you the rest. I'll do my best and this year I really do feel like I get to do something I love, and the fact I have you all means a ton for me. I don't know what else to say but thank you!
