I'm really excited about this one because I've actually never painted a non-natural environment. So there it is my first try.I'll let you guess what is the place, now will follow a little (very little )story about this scene.
"Mommy?"
"Yes darling?"
"Who's that dragon?"
The mother sighed."He is the greatest hero and the most powerful dragon of our era. His name was Spyro."
"Just like me!"
"Just like you"
"And what happened to him?"
"He decided to give his life to save us all..."
"....."
"Mom why are you crying?"
"...It's nothing. Now come, let's bring him some flowers..."

Yes she was the one crying(more like sobbing silently). About Flame and Ember, I'd say I don't know because they're not present in this trilogy.
