Depiction of the Great Saviour in his youth - Unknown Artist - 3 A.R. ca

The piece in question represents the Mighty Purple Dragon, Spyro, as the LightBringer, which is one of the many epithets which the Hero was called just after the Reconstruction. This depiction contains rich classical symbols and images typical of the historical period of the piece. We are listing them briefly:
- The Halo of Fire: true symbol of the LightBringer, which takes form of a sphere of magical fire that hovers between the horns of the figure. From it, many rays of light spread across the whole painting, symbolising the diffusion of peace and prosperity all across the realms, in consequence of His heroical deeds.
- The Stars: they represent the constant presence of the Ancestors, which sustained the Hero during his daunting battle agains the dark forces.
- The Night Sky: An image that refers to Cynder, loyal companion and mate of the Purple Dragon. She gained redemption of her past actions as the Terror thanks to her fundamental help to the Saviour during his journey.
-The Mountains(in the background): Image of the Avalarian panorama, place of great importance for the great Saviour.
