Depiction of the Great Saviour under the Aurora Borealis - Unknown - 15 A.R. ca

This piece is a bit of an oddity, amongst all of the others presented in this book.
We have as main subject, of course, the Purple Dragon, but, as it's clearly visible, there are not any sacred/spiritual symbols depicted.
Some have theorized that the Aurora, or the stars behind it, represents the Ancestors, but no real proof has been found about this claim.
The most shared theory is that this painting was commissioned by Spyro's family itself, after the Savior's visit in the far norther continent, where the Purple Dragon remained ecstatic in witnessing the Aurora Borealis, so much that he sometimes returned there just to glimpse it again.
Anyway, we chose to have this piece inserted in our book, simply for the fact that it still contains one sacred symbol, the mighty Savior.
