Description
The Masters of Evil are a super villain team that has menaced the Avengers since shortly after they were founded. Originally created by the first Baron Zemo as a scheme to seek revenge against his old nemesis, Captain America, it had many other configurations of bad guys and motives after Zemo's death. They literally have evil in their name, so what else do you need to know?
Carl "Crusher" Creel was a former boxer turned small time crook turned convict and prisoner. But Thor's brother, Lori was being a jerk one day, as he likes to do, a d have ol' Crusher a magic drink that gave him super powers. Specifically the power to absorb the physical properties of anything he touched. So like, steel, bricks, ice, boogers, a nice rye bread...whatever.
Calling himself "The Absorbing Man," he is actually a tough customer that regularly bedevils heroes like Thor, Hulk, the Fantastic Four, etc. But he's also as dumb as he is ugly, and he's quite ugly, so he's easy to defeat. His costume is literally just orthopedic shoes and prison pants, because its just quicker that way since he knows he's just gonna end up back in jail.
He hooked up with a girl way too young for him, fellow bad guy Titania and they both got recruited into Zemo's Masters of Evil and helped with the siege on Avengers Mansion.
First they broke Moonstone out of jail, then they were sent to a hospital to kill the already badly wounded Hercules. But they got their butts kicked by Wasp and Scott Lang, the 2nd Ant-Man (who came to help out his Avengers pals).
Crusher Creel: He can absorb anything but good life choices.
