I thought I'd try a short MLP comic. Something so cute seems a natural for my art, so I figured it'd be fun. And it was.
Here, Fluttershy thinks her new friend "Harry" (Hairy, get it?) is adorably cute. And as a tarantula owner myself, I agree with her! XD However, not everyone shares our adoration of hairy things with lots of legs. I thought Rarity would be the one who would be most freaked out by a giant spider, no matter how cute. But of course, she still tries to stay polite.

Only Fluttershy would think a giant tarantula is cute (that I know of)....And only someone like you can make it actually look somewhat cute.
Bear in mind I said the last bit while being a GIANT arachnophobe. Seriously, bravo.

I read your description after posting my comment...My bad if I offended ya by saying what I did about tarantulas not being cute. I know if someone said that about dogs to me, I'd feel at least a little insulted, even if I knew they didn't mean to insult me.

Hey Tarantulas are actually quite domesticated and usually passive as long as you leave them be. I could see Fluttershy with one of those with her critters.
