Description The American Sentinel landed with the paratroopers of "Easy Company" of the 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment assigned to the 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army. Their mission on d-day was the seizure and destruction of batteries of 105mm guns of the German III Battalion-191st Artillery Regiment and also to disrupt German communications, establish roadblocks to hamper the movement of German reinforcements, establish a defensive line between the beachhead and Volognes, clear the area of the drop zones to the unit boundary at Les Forges, and link up with the 82nd Airborne Division.
I gave the American Sentinel a M3A1 "Grease Gun,” just cause I love the way they look, the eagle motif I added to go over his shoulder straps so you get an idea of the logo on his uniform also I added the knee pads that the paratroopers had. I gave his shield two grooves cut into the sides so that he can use it as a shield and place his gun on the side and fire from a protected position.
I gave him the standard Nazi scary looking guy but this time I gave the guy goggles and a gasmask just to add to the effect of the character, then I did the Nazi strong man but he’s sporting just a brass eye patch and if you look close the strap to the eye patch goes in to the Nazi logo on his face. Also Just to prove Hitler’s determination to win the war at any cost he authorized Operation Lazarus, where a German crop duster would lay down a spray of chemicals over the battlefield and then calling for a Nazi retreat, leaving the allied forces to deal with the reanimated corpses of Nazi and fallen friend alike to rise up hungry for the flesh of the living
As for allies in this war I drew the Patrioteer, another patriot hero I drew in the past

And with the fun I had making the Ultra American and Commando Courage I decide to give each branch of the US military their own ww2 patriot, so I decided to just take the patriot heroes I did in the past and put them in World War 2. Giving them the back story that they were all part of Operation Living Shield as a group of select soldiers granted colorful costumes to raise moral for the war effort through news reels of their success as Sentinels of American Liberty.
The gruff old looking guy is Major Ruckers the ‘tough as nails’ military leader that our hero takes field orders from. And I threw in a French nurse who meets out hero after she takes a piece of shrapnel out of his leg.
