did this the other day wanted to get a cool splash cover for the commando, my only complaint is that I ran out of room to get the whole gun in frame .got a couple of Nazi guys running away as if they heard the commando was coming, also I though why not have a scary looking Nazi bad guy in the shot as well, I think the mouth part is pretty cool looking but for me the screw eyes is the cherry on top of it all.

You know, I was thinking about how you could simplify the Commander Courage shield - instead of the whole Canadian flag of that era, you've got the perfect symbols of courage on his shield - the three lions.
Or just go the whole route and make the Fleur De Lis symbol the core to signify his Canadianness.
However, three lions - you don't get much more courageous than three lions.

I don't mean to be snooty, but you like this character, he needs a shield, and that seemed the easiest means of making him authentically Canadian without necessitating three weeks to draw the shield.

no bro, didnt take it like that at all, the comments are good, i'm doing a couple roughs right now on it right now, but after looking up more on the symbols meanings online, the 3 lions are more england than anything, which sucks cuz i had a couple of jokes lined up with the ultra american making fun on the lion covered sheild ala the cowardly lion and commando courage's name.
