Description This is version of [link] with some effects added and changes in how you interact with it

Effects inspired by Flight404 [link]

Controls
First box is maximal ball count. If there is more on stage then balls start to break on collisions.

Second box is minimal ball count. If there is less then some are created at borders.

Third box is created ball speed. IF set to 0 then balls are created under the cursor. If set higher then they are shot from cursor position with set speed. Be careful as too much energy in system makes explosions big

Move mouse to give it a direction. Click to create/shoot balls from the mouse


P.S: Will need to add some dumping as adding too many balls leads to complete madness and lags


Update
Fixed bug with balls disappearing while mouse button is pressed and reappearing when it is released.
Also how balls are removed was fixed.

You can set it yourself Left bottom corner box with value 500. It just that by default it is 500 but you can set it to more if you like.

Weird thing: the frame rate dropped to about 4-5 when I had all the balls moving vertically with only like 5/600 or something at speed 10. Then by 1000 it had dropped to ~1.5fps. However, when I had them moving any which way, even with 1000 balls, the fps still was really good!

Ouh that's because they all collide each frame... When they move all around collision are rare in compare to case you did... I presume I should add a little randomization to ball output so that they will not be all in one line and collide properly.

You know it is like with real balls. If ball heats head on another ball they stay at one line. And in this case you put many balls at one line and with speed that is in same line thus they never leave this line and you stacked like 1000 of them there where only 100 would fit As a result they collide a lot each frame thus adding more calculations of resolving collisions.

Hehe, I sort of thought it would be something like that.

Also, when firing them off at speed 1, when you've got it exactly straight, the balls go into the straight line (whereas generally speaking, they go off in huge clumps).

lol this is a pretty addictively fun game, in allmost the exact same way metaballs was. i hope you update this more, which u seem to usually do with any game you upload

one thing ide like is the balls to be able to break down untill theyre nothing.

Well making balls smaller after collision so that they disappear after a while is a good idea. Another one would be adding connection between them like in chemical structures and give control over size as you said and over how many connections balls is allowed to have like it was in chemical structures.

Though flash cs4 is coming out + master work + [link] so I am kind of busy now... So don't know if I be making more upgrades.
