Okay..I had a burst of ability last night (amazing what art you can produce when you should be writing a thesis instead.)It's Axl Rose from GNR (I mean please, what sane man would wear that getup?)

Completely off topic, but I have found it. THE one. Unless you've already seen it, prepare to shield your eyes, for this is by far the worst thing he's ever worn. Even by my standards. Sure, I'd still jump his bones, but on a purely fashion level, this is scary. [link]

Thanks for your advice on the hat, but I'm absolutely shtinking shit at sewing, and I'm sure to botch it up and make the hat go psycho-looking.... not that it isn't anyway, but... I think I'm going to sell it on Ebay for a bit of cash, and use THAT cash to buy a REAL hat!! Not some cheapo too-big thing I bought in a Japanese crafts store!
Any ideas of where I can GET one of these legendary po-leece hats without nicking one off an ACTUAL po-leece office? Actually, that would be kewl... but I'd probably end up in major trouble... althouuuuuugh I could ASK one if I could try on his hat, and then ask if I could have it.... that might work, and I wouldn't get in trouble that way.

It's a black leather kilt. It's kinda funny to watch him in the real plaid ones 'cause when he runs back and forth it ends up flying up n' ya see the white bike shorts he has underneath. You probably wouldn't mind what he wears off stage and not in photo shoots. Jeans and a t-shirt is far too "average" for that sort of event. I found one of him in black velvet leggings a few days ago. But I can't make fun of him for that 'cause I used to have some, too.

Ah, but he's a rock star, thus doesn't apply to the "normal" rules. ...And I think I still have those leggings somewhere... Spandex was my attire of choice as a kid. Don't ask why; I don't know. So I make Axl look like Axl? Thankies! What do you mean though..that I draw his horrid garments? I loved that photo...I couldn't really make the drawing look like there was a sun setting in the background >.< Oh well...
Now that I've listed to UYI I more..Im realizing what a vocal chameleon he is..his voice just goes everywhere and he can do these amazing things with it..very cool...

That, and the fact he just...looks like Axl. Don't think there are many on this site, but a lot of drawings of him turn out a little "off" to the point it looks like his brother or something (I actually don't know exactly what his real brother looks like, short of the fact he has true red redhair, not strawberry blonde, but you know what I mean). You get the facial features and everything right. And I love that particular picture, too.
And Axl's voice definitely does run the gamut. Even people who don't like it (such as my friend who says he's a cat being raped) will admit the man can sing in the normal definition of "good" when he tries. But the unique phrasing and sounds make it all the more fun. I've never been able to figure out how he does it. Like how he physically does it. Someday I'm going to find a vocal coach or something who can explain, because his speaking voice is so soft and low compared to it. Then again, most vocal coaches probably pull their hair out listening to him.

I have no idea what Axl's speaking voice sounds like, so what you said came as a surprize..I'd imagine he'd sound very hoarse. 0_o
Thanks! It was fun to draw..I like profiles a lot...because there's lees to mess up..haha. And I know what you mean about other drawing's of him being off...They don't get the nose right or something...In one of the photo's I've seen (er...sitting down..scary red blazer, jeans..) he has one of the sweetest smiles I've ever seen...you would never think he was a raging psycho....

Dunno if I have any sound clips on this computer, but when he isn't throwing a tantrum, he's quite polite, soft spoken, and a lot of people describe him as a real gentleman. But on the other side of his bi-polar disorder (and you can't get much more bi-polar) he'll go from being all smiles and laughing to screaming and throwing things within seconds. It's kinda funny because a lot of people have stories from before he was big about him being extremely shy. Like Nikki Sixx remembers throwing a party and having two girls come to the door saying they were there with Axl Rose, and he wanted to come in but was too shy to go knock on the door and ask (since at that time Motley Crue was insanely famous). Nikki let the girls in and left Axl outside (aww).
Most people genuinely likes him and think he's a great guy...half the time. 
And I completely know what you mean about his nose.

He must have some kind of chemical imbalance...which there's medication for..but if he's all new age-y and St. John's Wort (which my mom takes and it really does work for her...but then, she isn't nuts) Then you're right, he'll be 80 and nuts.
You're right...he is pretty...he has that full lower lip, high cheek bones and quite lovely eyes...but his jaw line saves him from looking like a girl.
Aw hell..here I am analyzing "Why I Think Axl Rose is Attractive" when I should be writing "The Importance of Organic Lawn and Garden Care: the Consequences of using Harmful Herbicides and Pesticides and their effect on our Ecosystems and Human Health."
