Oh man, I've been neglecting TAC...I need to go hang out there a little more. This is beautiful! A totally different view of what the beast looks like (since I always picture him like Disney's beast). Gorgeous!

Thank you! Beauty and the Beast is my favorite fairy tale (I think I wrote that in the picture comments XD ) And I collect illustrated versions of it. The book illustrated by Hilary Knight has to be my favorite though..he portrayed the beast as a Saytr..and the illustrations are in watercolor too! I can try and scan one or two, if you're interested in seeing them... They're beautiful...
Yeah..poor TAC has been kind of slow..

hmm... none of these are the best ones, or from the series i was looking for, but you get the gist of the idea... ish. yeah. too many damn comics...
the movie was called Legend, and Tim Curry played the dude you got the horns off of.

um... okay... you read any diana wynne jones? if not, get some of her books out, like Deep Secret (in the adult section), or Chronicles of Chrestomanci (probly in kids section)... or check out Tom Robbins (my FAVE!) with Even Cowgirls Get the Blues, or Skinny Legs and All... or something like that. mm. yeah.

One is two stories, about the boy and his sister, and uncle, (damn, don't remember the title...) and then The Lives of Christopher Chant...
the OTHER one is The Magicians of Caprona (which i didn't like that much...), and Witch Week (which i DID like!)

I suppose to make the tale really 'changed' and "dark" I'd have to have Beuty with a whip and the Beast in leather handcuffs..but I like it better with Beauty trying to get away from the scary bad beast...
Beauty and the Beast is my favorite fairy tale of all time..oh, and the Beauty and the beast essay I wrote (with the passive agressive professor :rollseyes: ) got an A+ WOO HOO!
