Gee, I've been working on this thing ever since the very first overly pixelated photos of these guys leaked into Serebii.net, and finally I got it finished. Darn you free time for having disappeared!I don't care what you people think about the fifth gen, but I really like them, and I whole heartedly welcome them all. Specially the new starters, I have no idea of which one to choose when I eventually get my claws on White version as I love them all. Darn.
Bring it on, Nintendo! I'm ready!

Fire type pokemon's are amazing, because they can destroy everythin with a single flame, and i love Emboar!! i friggin love him!!

I wonder why it is that people dislike him so much. I mean, he's a flaming hellboar (with the greatest base HP and Attack stats of all full grown starters ever!) that's got to be at least somewhat awesome, right?

Wow, you did a impressive job depicting the new starters. I havn't reall even thought about them that much, and after seeing this I don't know which I'll choose. I often go with fire, but I don't really like the fire Pokemon very much. The other two I love the final evolutions. I think I'll probably go with water sense plant pokemoon have never worked well for me. If I decide to get both games I wont have to decide though lol

Aww, thanks! ^^ And lucky you, I can probably only get one game, so choosing must happen. The snake looks really beautiful, and the samurai sealion too, and I personally also like the pig too (flaming hellboar!). Choosing's evul.

No offense but... I really dislike the new starters :\
From Kanto starters = Awesome
Johto starters = Still Awesome
Hoenn starters = Just got more awesome
Sinnoh starters = They're kinda cool
New starters = I just can't get used to it. They look very very different from all the other starters I've seen. Just doesn't seem right to me
I don't mind if you dislike my comment. I'm just saying what I think about the new pokemon. They're not bad. It just makes me think they belong to digimon XD (no offense again)
Anyway, I really think you did an awesome job on that art. I don't like the new fire pokemon though.

I actually agree with you on the "they belong to digimon" comment, pokemon designs are getting more and more complicated, with extra crap just sort of thrown on pointlessly. Compare to the first generation and you'll see much simpler designs.
That being said, I am still looking forward to gen V coming here, there are plenty of new pokemon that I like from gen V, and several that I dislike, and several I am indifferent towards, but that is the same with every generation, including gen 1.
Though I think I'm not gonna evolve my water starter past the 2second stage..... Daikenki's kinda cool, but.... his design's really jumping the shark from his previous 2 evolutions.... I was hoping we'd get a cool ninja/samurai bipedal otter; instead the otter goes quadruped and the pig goes biped and the lizard loses it's legs altogether!
I wanted a quad pig and a biped ninja otter...

I might be going for the grass serpent. It's pretty cool. I hope they stop making it so complicated. On the 4th gen my favourite would be lucario. I found his design pretty badass going all aura.
