Description
A print for the upcoming Desucon. Same series with this one: [link]I originally planned to do these starter trio prints of all Pokémon generations in chronological order, but my brain refused to arrange the second gen 'mons in a good way, so I jumped ahead in the queue. I love Unova and all the 'mons that came with it. Well, I love almost all Pokémon, so that's no surprise really.
I don't know if I have time to do these of all the generations. Let's see how far I can get within the time limit.

ahahaha Samurott got so badass in this one. This is also the first time that I see his front shields being used as swords, so that's entirely new to me. Wicked.

Yeah, the sword things are pretty awesome. I first saw them in a picture of an official poster in Bulbapedia (Here: [link] ) and it might be part of the reason why I chose it as my starter in White. Too bad the sprite animation doesn't show it.

Something about these guys reminds me vaguely of The Legend of Zelda... probably because Emboar resembles Ganon a lot...

To be fair, there is quite a resemblance... I'll probably pick the guy when I gen my hands on a Black/White version just so I can name him that

I know,I love second gen too, but they just refused to pose themselves in my mind in a way that would fit the paper and look good. 8(
