Monty does not think highly of her fellow cyborgs. To be fair, both Raych and Odile are perfectly competent door kickers, but I suspect J+M were looking more for wiley, experienced saboteurs, with a side order of cunning and guile, more than the ability to headbutt a brick wall and win.
I was going to throw a few more of the Cyborg Central OC cast in there, but ran out of time, space, and motivation... plus, let's be honest here, Monty is being a little rude about those present. Though I suspect those who know her would be expecting that.
Since I'm on the road a lot at the moment, I've been making a point putting some effort into neater stuff in my sketch pad (rather than vague forms to use as a base in Photoshop). So here's trying something new: sketchy stuff, with the foreground characters cleaned up digitally and coloured.
Monty and Jethro Blacker, and the Olivetti and Vitale fratelli, are fancharacters operating in the Gunslinger Girl universe, which is (c) Yu Aida.

Considering who they were asking for reinforcements, I have to wonder who Monty was expecting to show up.
Then again, considering how well she's acquainted with the reinforcement pool, I suppose she was hoping the Agency had a few hidden gems waiting in the wings, eh? Who knows, maybe next time she'll get the Rossis.

Well, she did stipulate commandos, so I suspect she was hoping for some Col Moschins, or at least some of Salles' GIS mob (or, if we're keeping with the Cyborg Central parlance: some of the SRT).
And yes, she is acquainted with the reinforcement pool... which is probably why she asked for commandos in the first place.

Cheers mate. GsG was indeed an awesome series, and there are a few fan characters floating around if you know where to look. The community for it might not be large, but it seems to have staying power.
