I'm actually using this guy as my character portrait in a teen superhero game I'm playing in.
Kind of like a young Thing, if the Thing looked like some sort of tree-robot-thing.
So what I'm trying to say is thank you so much for drawing this and inspiring the character.

I wanted to design something that looked like it was ancient yet man made and could be mistaken for a Forest Guardan or God

I am definitely getting a forest guardian feel for this. Like a slightly more ferocious version of the golems in Castle in the Sky.
What program do you use? I'm trying to break away from photoshop but IUware keeps throwing free versions at me.

I actually handdraw it all, inks and such, then I scan it into photoshop and do the flat colors on different layers

heh, well, if you like green white weenies, it's not exactly the same, but the Abzan tribe in Khans (green/white/black) has that sort of human, battalion playstyle that used to follow green/white. Plus, desert knights. what's not to love?Β
